Cedar Doors have been manufacturing timber garage doors for the last 35 years with a customer base ranging from the small house builder building high specification properties to the major house builder with developments of all sizes nationwide.

We also support a national network of Garage Door Specialist and Installers all dealing direct to the public and trade outlets.

In the beginning the business was operating from a small manufacturing unit in the village of South Normanton, Derbyshire.

In 2004 we had reached a position in our business where due to demand for our products and the need to expand the range of our products, that towards the end of Summer 2004 Cedar Door relocated to our present address of Wimsey Way, Alfreton Trading Estate, Somercotes, which is very close to junction 28 of the M1, into a new purpose built premises giving us a total floor area covering nearly 30,000 sq ft on a self contained two acre site. We have invested in new plant and machinery, a much larger machine shop and assembly area together with a completely new finishing plant for fully finished doors.
